Considering situation nowadays, performance measurement is a fundamental principle of management [1]. In last twenty years, there have been crucial changes in private sector: globalization, privatization and automatization have changed the basic conception on which companies are supposed to commit to the public good [2]. The one of the ways to be sufficient in future is to raise productivity of divisions/teams to achieve higher goals and acquire further tops. The main objective of this paper is to show necessary steps of efficiency evaluation for mechanical design members and propose key performance indicators (KPI) for management. Case study on real company is planned as next task.
